What makes our clinic different from other day programs?

Many day programs have 4 or 5 clients to one supervising staff member. It can be difficult to keep track of everyone! With our clinic implementing ABA therapy, we can staff RBTs to give better, one-on-one care.

We want to help build up their essential life skills! Some of these skills may include:

  • Building up confidence in communication through activities such as board games and crafts.

  • Role-playing real-life situations, such as doctor visits or haircuts, to help them tolerate real visits.

  • Job-related skills practice, such as working a cash register.

  • Assistance with alternative communication devices.

  • Practicing safety skills during community walks.

  • Following toileting schedules to increase independence.

  • Practicing reading skills at their own level.

Arts & crafts, reading comprehension, board games, and activities in the community are just a few of the many skills and activities we aim to provide every client.
